Cezars Cafe are committed to efficiency and sustainability, thus reducing our footprint on the environment. Ultimately, every service provider should take the responsibility for implementing their own efficiency and sustainability program seriously to protect the environment and to support the community they serve.
Recycling & Reducing Waste
Over the years Cezars Kitchen has launched several initiatives to decrease the environmental impact of our disposable cups. We introduced our recycled-content cup sleeve as a way to protect customers from hot beverages and avoid the waste of “double cupping.” We are committed to doing more and continue to search for new ways to reduce the environmental footprint of our disposable cups and another packaging.
Reusable Cups
Reducing the environmental impact of our cups depends on the success of two interrelated efforts: developing recyclable cup solutions and dramatically increasing our customers’ use of reusable cups. A lot of our customers are also working to reduce their own environmental impact even as we are. To help them help us, we offer a ¥20 discount in Japan to encourage customers to use their own reusable mugs or tumblers for their beverages.
Energy Audits
To reduce resource consumption, we invite energy efficiency experts into our locations to conduct Energy Audits. The team completes a full review of water, electricity, and gas consumption. Based on their observations and findings, we make behavior and/or equipment changes to make our locations even more environmentally friendly.
